Hell, if we could just make lobbying and labor unions illegal we would be will on our way to a more sound fiscal policy. Also, I think that its time to set term limits for all elected offices across the board, and to eliminate "riders" on bills. It is truly appalling how much money is spent on special interest riders. Additionally, its time that politicians live with the same laws, benefits and retirement opportunities that the rest of us get to choose from.

If they push hard enough... the 30 million americans that are self employed.. are going to revolt.

What do you think the whole "contract with America" was all about. We put the other party in place hopeing things would change. You know the old song "make the old laws same as the new laws, and hope we wont get fooled again" well it happened. Same song different singers. It isnt until we fix the monitary system in the US and do away with Fiat money and fractional reserve banking and go back to an system of honest weights and measures so to speak that we'll be able to start sorting out our political problems. We have the best system money can buy and we've give one group of people the ability to print money out of worthless paper, there for those who print that money control the whole system.
