best books

What are the books you like best that simply and persuasively demonstrate that capitalism as an excellent working system? I like to recommend and buy books for socialist friends that might persuade them more toward fiscal conservatism that don't interfere with socially liberal ideals.

I always end up recommending The Armchair Economist or The Road to Serfdom but am looking for some new material. Also, one that is strong on property rights would be good, as a counterbalance to all those "rent is theft" thinkers.
