I actually heard one libertarian candidate for president on the radio the other morning and contrary to my previous experiences with libertarians, he didn't sound completely crazy. :) -- I do like what some of the party has to say, they just get so hung up on a couple single issues that the part of their philosophy that could actually attract a larger group of voters seems to get pushed under the desire attack the other parties and argue a few more outlandish concepts.

    I expet to vote libertarian.

I usually vote libertarian, but between the two major parties I usually find myself more comfortable with the republican than democrat candidate. I have generally believed that it was easier to protect my bedroom from republicans than my bank account from democrats. But after 8 years of W, I'm not as certain of that as I once was.

To me the presumptive major party presidential candidates are both badly flawed. By mounting a more broad based appeal than nominating doctrinally pure candidates who are easily marginalized by the mainstream media as drug-doing, child-porn-promoting wackos, I think the party could actually garner enough presidential votes to impact the election. And that will do more to put libertarian ideas into practice than anything else.

    Not me. I think it's a throwaway.
The cold hard fact's are that it's a two party system and only the super rare exceptions rise above that.

Right now I'd vote for anything not from the Democrat's or the left.
The things that I've seen lately are nothing but terrifying.
Historically, I was sort of left leaning but that's all changing for me.
